Technology B conference Session 2

My partner and I explored the WatchKnow site and found SAT vocabulary video to use with our sophomores and a Beatles rendition of the play with a play (the story of Pyramus and Thisbe) from A Midsummer Nights Dream. I can't wait for the Shakespeare unit.

Morse Mountain—A Moist Adventure

 

The forecast said, “clouds, overcast, drizzle”

Layer with cotton and fleece was suggested

We had no expectation of a sizzle

Yet, downpouring rain was not requested

On our way we saw vernal pools galore

The study of nature through experiments

Even a scavenger hunt on the shore

Did not produce much student merriments

Seeing trees with blossoms so plentiful

Rare lichen, some moss and flowers divine

Ladies slippers, pine blossoms bursting full

Greenery everywhere, favorite of mine

A shift of pace from inside the school

Made for fun, even in the damp and cool
